I received an email saying “my payment was not claimed”. What do I do?
If you receive an email advising that your payment was not claimed, there are two things that could have happened:
- (1) You did not claim this money within 30 days of receiving it.
Once the email is sent from PayPal, you have 30 days to click on the link and accept the payment or the transfer will expire and the funds will be returned. If this happens, you simply need to log back into your Checkout 51 account and request to cash out again via PayPal. Please note that the 5-15 business day process will start over again from the beginning when you cash out a second time. You will not be sent a new payment link or notification of deposit to your account right away
- (2) There is an error with your PayPal account that has caused the funds to be returned.
In this case, you have two options. You will either need to (a) create a new PayPal account using your Checkout 51 account email address to ensure that your next cash out will be deposited automatically, or (b) you will have to contact PayPal to find out why you are not able to receive payments.
